Your partner in metal stamping and animal identification
Looking for a reliable partner in high-volume metal stamping and precision metal components? At Hut, we combine more than 80 years of manufacturing experience with modern production techniques, consistent quality and personal service.
From our production facility in Emmen, the Netherlands, we manufacture metal stampings and components for customers across Europe. In addition, we supply ear tags and related identification products for livestock to the Dutch agricultural market, supported by the same commitment to quality, reliability and service.
A family-owned company since 1945
Hut was founded in 1945 in Velp, the Netherlands. Ten years later, the company relocated to Emmen to accommodate further growth and expand its manufacturing operations. Today, Hut operates approximately 3,000 m² of production facilities, where we manufacture metal components for a wide range of applications.
Over the years, we have continuously invested in automation, modern manufacturing technologies and the expertise of our people. This enables us to combine more than 80 years of experience with efficient production processes and consistently high product quality.
In addition to our metal manufacturing activities, we supply a complete range of ear tags, slaughter tags and related animal identification products to the Dutch livestock sector.
The next generation
Since 2018 the youngest daughter has led the family business, continuing a tradition built on quality, craftsmanship, reliability and personal service.
Today, our commitment remains the same as it was in 1945: delivering on our promises, supplying products our customers can depend on and building long-term partnerships.
Animal Identification
Hut has been supplying animal identification products to the Dutch livestock sector for decades. Since 1960, we have manufactured metal slaughter tags for pigs and supply a complete range of official ear tags for cattle, sheep, goats and pigs.
As an authorised supplier of Allflex ear tags, we provide livestock farmers with identification solutions that comply with current Dutch regulations.
Metal Stamping
High-volume metal stamping is one of Hut’s core manufacturing activities. Combining modern stamping technology with our in-house toolmaking capabilities enables us to produce precision metal components efficiently and consistently.
We manufacture metal components for a wide range of industries, including:
- Electrical engineering
- Wood products
- Wire products
- Other industrial applications
In cooperation with our trusted galvanic partners, we also offer a range of finishing options. Components can be manufactured according to customer drawings, samples or technical specifications.
Hut since 1945
HUT was founded as a metalworking company and has many years of experience in the production of industrial small metal components. From our own workshop, we combine craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques in metal stamping and series production.
Today, we provide customised solutions and serial production for a wide range of industries, both domestically and internationally.
